❓DID YOU KNOW❓

25th November marked the first International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The color for this year is orange which represents a brighter future, free from violence 🍊

Since the pandemic began:

🧡 7 in 10 women say that verbal or physical abuse by partner has become more common

🧡6 in 10 women feel that sexual harassment in public spaces has worsened

🧡 45% of women reported that they or a women they know has experienced a VAWG (voilence against women and girls)

🧡Globally, as many as 38% of murders of women are commited by their male partner

🧡Each year 15 million girls are married before the age of 18

I pledge and support to be a part of "Orange The World” campaign to end any form of violence against women and girls.

A brighter world begins with us, so let's strive to create one, where each of us can enjoy a life of peace, justice and dignity.

Do you pledge to #orangetheworld ?

Remember, Good Girls Go Global🌎
